Yoga for Hurricane Relief

"After rain theres a rainbow, after a storm theres calm, after the night theres a morning, and after a ending theres a new beginning."

Pedal NYC (Upper West Side) is collecting clothing and jackets, which they’ll drop off at donation sites. www.pedalnyc.com

Through the end of the year, Sacred Sounds Yoga (Soho) is donating all proceeds from its community classes on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. to the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. $5, www.sacredsoundsyoga.com
The Flatiron’s Sangha House will have boxes set up to collect warm winter clothing, sheets and blankets, baby items, and non-perishable food items. www.sanghahousenyc.com
Yoga 216 (West Chelsea) will donate proceeds from weekly Win Win donation-based classes to hurricane relief efforts. Tuesdays at 2:16-3:16 p.m.,  www.yoga216.com

***If you are not in the New York area, see what you can do from your own area.  Set up a yoga class at your local studio and let the proceed go to Hurricane Sandy relief.  Any assistance helps!
