Never Look Back...

I love this quote and cute accompanying illustration above.  Lately I have really been trying to be more present minded and less stuck in the past and regretful.  All that I have seen from this simple little change in mindset is positive results.  Instead of using my energy to worry about the past and how it has affected my future, I've started to become more accepting of where I currently am in my life and used that acceptance to push me to start moving towards gaining the things that I want.

Through networking and utilizing my connections I have become aware of new people, career goals, and friendships that I never had before.  Constantly ruminating on past career choices or past loves, while having its place and time, I have realized can sidetrack you and maybe make you miss out on present opportunities that are staring you in the face but for your fixation on the past.

So my advice, "never look back darling, it distracts from the now."  And you never know what favorable circumstances, lucky chances, and wonderful connections that the present beholds.
