Calm Before The Storm ....

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost

Last weekend I took a little day trip with Keiko to Warwick, New York.  It is a beautiful, charming little town filled with good places to eat and cute antique shops.  I was sold on the town itself, but the surrounding area really is what makes the place so wonderful.  Filled with scenic mountains and fields, fall really had come to Warwick where the trees where covered in leaves of ever changing golden hues.

Now hurricane Sandy is on its way to New York, and I thought I would share some of the beautiful scenery from Warwick as the "calm before the storm."  It's nice to get a day off of work, but being stuck in the house for days and the possibility of a power outage is not a thrilling prospect. Stay safe everyone, and I hope you all had a great weekend!
