I am always looking for easy ways to express myself through fashion - ways to incorporate my style in a manner that is quick and effortless. Lately I have been seeing a lot of headscarves around pinterest and in magazines, and the multitude head scarf trends has intrigued me.
From 1920's chic, to Jackie O classic, to fashionable bohemian - the mere addition of a headscarf takes a simple summer look, and all its restraint on layers, to another level. And to me the best part is that this look can be achieved for little money and with minimal effort (I'm a sucker for quick fix hairstyle; not the most patient of persons).

And while I love all of the above styles for summer, for those of you who follow soccer, Spanish footballer, Andres Iniesta's wife, Ana Ortiz, wore the most beautiful head scarf to hear wedding. When my friend who follows Iniesta's team introduced me to these pictures, I just thought it was such a stunning and unique way to accessorize her wedding gown.

Moreover, if you are not quite sure how to accomplish the above looks, here is an adorable "How to Wear a Headscarf" tutorial from the lovely accessory line ban.do (check out their hair accessories - super cute and just the right price!). This tutorial is great because it shows you just how simple and easy it is to recreate three fun and stylish headscarf looks: 1.) The Jackie O, 2.) Urban Turban, and 3.) Topknot Bow:
Another great headscarf tutorial is from my good friend Keiko over at Keiko Lynn. Check it out:
